"Kelly, As you know I have studying Yoga now for about 17 months. Nine months into my yoga studies and training I gave a lot of thought to getting my yoga instructor training. It was at that time that I met you at Crystal Mountain Resort as a new yoga instructor for Crystal Mountain. In considering my path I spoke with my current instructors at Fort Bragg and those that I was studying under for the past nine months. They made it clear that I should consider a path that was outside what I already understood and actually suggested I find an instructor that I could learn new ideas from and one that would challenge my growth both physically and spiritually. I did a lot of research on schools, programs, and accreditation. When you offered a Yoga Alliance Accredited Instructor course starting in January 2020 the time was perfect for me. I was impressed already by your teaching at Crystal Mountain and after our one on one interview I felt you were an instructor that I could expand with. Looking back on the course and all the adversity that we had to overcome with the E-Learning and yoga online, I am pleased to say that I chose the right instructor for my introduction to yoga and yoga as a way of life. I went into the course assuming that it would be another simple course me since I am physically fit and an instructor in well over twenty subjects. In fact, I found myself engaged in several of the topics like health, meditation, and healing and purchased all the books written by Dr. Chopra. I even signed up online for the Chopra Centers e-learning and did additional courses aside from the assignments. I read every book and watched every suggested Netflix and Yoga Alliance video. I found that I did not agree with all the subject matter taught but looking back I think that was part of the learning process. As an individual who works with and teaches Tier 1 military units, I must admit that this class was one of the most challenging, informative, and educational courses I have ever taken. As an instructor you were able to open a very closed mind and closed way of life to whole new world. It took a lot of courage by both of us to have that transformation. You as an instructor had to be open enough to allow a student like me in your course and me as a student had to be mature enough to step out of my comfort zone and experience a whole new world. The way you opened your home and your heart to all of us was nothing short of a truly wonderful experience. To see you and Ted work together and support each other the way did during the entire course was awesome. I want to personally thank you for not giving up on your students during this Covid-19 Pandemic. It was truly amazing to see you switch and entire Teacher Training program to and E-Learning Program in under seven days. I was impressed and that is hard to for me to admit. If you are thinking of becoming a yoga instructor, I would strongly suggest Kelly Stiglich as your instructor. You will not be disappointed, she is wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and love." 2020
